[Jamie reaches to brush his fingers along Jon's hand, offering just a little bit of sunny warmth. He doesn't want to scare him further, but it's what he has to work with. He knows he isn't useful, and if anything, this incident has just proven it.]
It's going to be okay, Jon. I'm sorry I can't help more.
It's fine. You're doing better than I am. If you could help me come up with a few more of these I can get back to him.
[He pulls out his phone and opens up to the conversation with Hearne to show Jamie. Maybe it will help him get a better idea of how to insult the fairy?]
I can't believe he told you about backhanded compliments... there has to be something to that. It's also rather pathetic that his curse wouldn't outlive him.
Do changeling curses usually outlive them? From what he told me, he's more like you than you've described your Gentry to me. He used to be human, and then had... some sort of shard connected to him that turned him into a fairy king? All when he was an infant.
[Jamie lifts a delicate brow and looks at the screen again. Wouldn't be the first changeling to masquerade as one of Them. Maybe he doesn't need to be so afraid.
But better to tread carefully none the less.]
If a curse is good enough, I imagine it should. I've seen magical artifacts that still work after the maker is dead, I don't see why other magic should be all that different.
[He doesn't know for sure, though. That's an Autumn Court question.]
You magnificent creature. [Jamie grins and leans so he can kiss Jon's cheek.] Beautiful. I hope it works, but even if it doesn't, he deserved every bit of that.
The question isn't helping. Jon bites his lip hard and squeezes his thighs together.
"N-no. I-" He doesn't especially want to talk about... things that have happened to him with Jamie, even if Jamie's shared some of his own trials. "Ignore that. It's- mm... It's not important." The buzzing only seems to ramp up, though, as Jamie looks at him and the shame settles in along with the unnatural pleasure.
"Jon...?" He lifts his eyebrows and resists the urge to put a hand in Jon's lap. Yeah, he's not sure he can ignore this. Especially when he's pretty sure it starts getting more intense.
"Nothing. It's nothing. I- ah!" He screams in his head for the buzzing to stop, but it only intensifies with the regard.
"It's cursed. It's a cursed ring. I can't get it off and any time I'm- a-any time I'm embarrassed, it... goes off like this. Oh, god." He'd enjoyed being gently teased before, but this is making it bizarrely sexual.
"I mean it won't come off." Jon bites his lip. "I-I have a Statement about, ngh... about something like it. It's supposed to come off when you... when you get off. I didn't have a chance to do it the first time." For reasons he's not going to go into.
"I don't even know why you'd make something like this." Training someone into a particular kink doesn't actually occur to him.
"Oh, god." Not like that-like this. "It wasn't meant as a reward." of that, Jon is 100% certain. Just another way to humiliate him. The ring starts buzzing incessantly as Jon thinks about the times that Jamie's teased him in much nicer ways than the clone ever did. He never wanted this as a reward.
"Yes. God, yes, I want it off. Off!" His trousers are tenting noticeably as Jon screws his eyes shut and shoves his drink out of the way to drop his top half over the table, face down, hands in his hair. This is too much, and it needs to stop.
"Nngh... All I have is the cot in document storage." He supposes they could use the spare office. There are pillows and blankets stowed away in there, but they'd need to set those up into a pile to be comfortable.
"I don't want to make a mess." He jerks with a helpless little whine as the ring gives a particularly powerful jolt. Pleasure pours through him, and Jon's not entirely sure he's going to be able to stand up, let alone walk anywhere.
Jamie uses his foot to turn Jon's chair more until the Archivist is facing him.
"I won't let there be a mess," he promises. "Tell me what would be best for you, darling. I can just... take care of it the way I did when you were staying with me."
He'd gotten Jon off after the whole debacle with the tape, and that hadn't been so bad, right?

Here. This is what he said to me.

[Maybe he's not one of the True Fae.]

If his performance in bed is anything like his curses, then he'll be the sort to leave his partner wanting more?
[Is that a good one, Jamie?]

I'm sure there are people out there that like disappointment.
[Getting better, Jon!]
He has a nice rack, you barely even notice how weird his eyes look.

Yes, that's perfect, Jon. I love it.

[Jamie scoots his chair closer and brings his tea with him. He doesn't stop until he can press more of his leg against Jon's. For moral support.]

I expect he deserves a great many things. Thank you.

[Jamie leans a little closer when Jon gets a reply and is promptly distracted by the fact that he moans. He lifts a brow.]
Jon? Did I just hear something buzz?

Jamie looks even more surprised when Jon describes what it does. Buzzes when he's embarrassed? Poor thing.
"What do you mean you can't get it off? There has to be some way."
no subject
"I don't even know why you'd make something like this." Training someone into a particular kink doesn't actually occur to him.

"Because you like being teased," he says as he moves closer. "Kind of like a little reward system, right?"
His hand runs lightly over Jon's thigh and Jamie meets his gaze.
"Do you want to get it off?"

"I'll help. Do you want to go somewhere more comfortable?"
Maybe taking care of Jon in the kitchen would be fine, but Jamie suspects he'd rather not have interruptions.
