Victor's picked up a few new recipes during his time there. He stands up and carries Jamie to the kitchen, setting him down on one of the chairs before he starts gathering ingredients.
Jamie smiles and nuzzles against Victor as he's carried into the kitchen. He stays where he's put but he moves so he can watch Victor as he works. He ends up sitting in the chair backwards so he can rest his arms over the back of it, and his head on top of them.
"You know, if there's anything you want in the gardens on the roof, you should tell me. Season's changing, but I can start planning for spring."
"Sounds good. There are a few spices we could start growing."
He glances at Jamie with a smile, happy to share moments like these with him. The feral had found a few dormant sides in him during his time with Wolf and Jamie.
"Maybe I'll start cooking more around here. Who knows?"
"I'll look forward to cooking with the herbs you've grown."
Everyone back home would be rubbing their eyes at Victor Creed cooking food and doing all this domestic stuff. He's not quite sure how this place had managed to draw out this soft side.
Victor keeps an eye to make sure Jamie won't injure himself. He wants this to be a good experience for both, sharing something like this and bonding a bit more.
"I hope to make this as delicious as possible for you, Jamie. To pamper you."
"You know how I like that," he coos. Jamie adores that kind of attention, he likes being taken care of. Granted, he likes it on his own terms, but he's never really had to worry about that in this house. Neither Victor nor Wolf have never tried to push him in a direction he doesn't want to go.
He focuses on what he's doing, kind of cute in his intensity considering it's just potatoes. But he doesn't want to cut himself. Or mess up the potatoes somehow.
Victor takes a moment to watch Jamie working, unable to keep from smiling. He's always happy to look after Jamie and give him affection, but not overly so. He didn't want to smother him.
This had become a special, safe place for the three of them. A good relationship.
"What would you like for dessert? You can have anything you want."
