« What: Big party with drink specials, gourmet food, and staff and volunteers willing to provide whatever a patron needs or wants. Goal of the night is to grant everyone in attendance at least one fulfilled desire.

The Spring Revels

the welcome

Once upon a time, in a place far away, four courts exchanged power and control with the turn of each season. Each transition is marked with rituals and traditions. One of the most famous rituals the Spring Court holds is the Spring Revel, performed when winter officially passes into spring. The ritual is not only anticipated by the Spring Court: all secretly desire an invitation because they also know that the members of Spring will attempt, in the course of the Revel, to make one of their desires come true. Another popular gathering is the Homecoming, a hedonistic festival celebrating the anniversary of the current Monarch of Spring's escape from Faerie.

This celebration combines both the Revel and the Homecoming and you have been invited. While the Prince of Spring does not have his entire court at his disposal, he has mustered volunteers to help him this night. Come indulge, let go of your inhibitions. Revel in the vitality of spring at the season's height. Come, dear patrons, and have your desires fulfilled.

the club

The Gray Room is an upscale, private social club that caters to those with more elevated tastes in their vices. Memberships are available, which grant members full access to the private areas of the club during opening hours, but the bar and billiard room are open to the public in the evenings. The Gray Room specializes in absinthe cocktails and low lighting suitable for intimate encounters.

For the night of the Spring Revel, the club has relaxed its standards just a little to encourage a party atmosphere around the bar and dance floor. All patrons will have access to all locations in the club, including members-only areas.

Throughout the night, a DJ will be spinning music and will be taking requests from patrons: everything from house music to waltzes are available. If you would like a dance partner for something specific, there are volunteers mingling around the dance floor to make sure you can have just the dance you want. Booth seating and tables are available throughout the club. If interested in membership, please inquire with the Gray Room staff.

• Heavy hors d'oeuvres, small bites (sweet and savory) served all night. Full course meals available upon request for private dining.

First Kiss: tastes like peaches with the tart touch of raspberry; as it's consumed, the feeling of excitement and affection rises like champagne bubbles, leaving the consumer feeling flushed and freshly kissed.
Eros & Psyche: 50/50 chance to get Eros (tastes like spiced pears) or Psyche (floral, sweet). Eros causes a rush of arousal and desire to indulge; Pysche makes the consumer feel more curious and bold with an edge of romantic adventure.
Spring Nights: the scent of lilacs and spring rain, the first warm nights of the year just begging to let your bare skin kiss the air.
Love's Blush: a sparkling rosé; upon drinking, a sweet, effervescent warmth fills the consumer with the bright, shy feeling of the first blush of a crush.

Black Jack: crushed blackberries, absinthe, vodka, simple syrup, soda water; licorice stick and lemon zest for garnish (will affect any metabolism)
The Gold Digger: gold shimmer luster dust, st-germain liqueur, vodka, chilled champagne, grapefruit juice (will affect any metabolism)
Liquid Courage: tequila, peach liquer, energy drink, passion fruit juice, grapefruit juice, with a Jingle Jangle-dusted rim
Thistleweed: magical weed sold in 1oz or 0.5 oz, or by the joint. Its effects are much like regular weed, except enhanced to last far longer even on small amounts, and non-magical users may notice a temporary "magic infusion," wherein for a period of 2-5 hours (while their high lasts), they will experience very, very mild magical capabilities, such as being able to enact glamours on their appearance, lowgrade enhanced sight/smell/hearing/healing, and/or certain elemental manipulation. While this is a common effect of thistleweed, it may not and does not present in every user.

Regular wine, beer/cider, and cocktails available. Drugs on offer either at the bar or in the back rooms of the club. All drugs and drinks are enchanted: their effects end the moment someone leaves the club.

a more elegant time

Staff members from The Neptune Lounge have taken over the members' lounge. There will be arrangements for tea service, conversation, and a chance for guests to get away from the cares and woes of a too-modern world. Perhaps you would like someone to dance with who knows a proper waltz, or perhaps you're longing for something familiar: the Neptune is here for you.

Staff members may be available for other services, if asked politely.

sticks and stones

The staff of The Crucible are here to give you all the pain, pleasure, and discipline you can handle. Some are available for special requests. They have been given a few of the private rooms to take over and those inclined will be available for more public displays should any guest wish to be made an example of.

the private rooms

The club has private spaces available for small groups or pairs. All rooms are monitored and cannot lock. For the night, some volunteers may offer special services in private rooms or patrons may request to use them for a small fee. Toys, fetish gear, and bondage equipment are all available.

For professionally served, full-course meals in a private setting, please inquire with the bar staff. To the best of the kitchen's ability, all meal requests will be honored.

the volunteers

Throughout the club, staff and volunteers are available to all patrons to fulfill desires and impulses. Every possible desire that can be catered to has at least one person available to make it happen. Everything from cuddle piles to sado-masochism, from a romantic dinner to dancing all night and being made to feel special. Have you ever wanted to swing from the ceiling? Done. Do you just want to lay in bed quietly with someone and feel loved? We can arrange that. There are bouncers and security throughout the club to ensure everyone's safety - even the hard kinks need to respect boundaries. Professionals are on hand to provide aftercare and first aid.

Jamie will be making the rounds to fulfill more complicated or intense needs/desires. If anyone wants to spend an hour or so with someone they miss from home or someone unattainable in Duplicity, he will be available. With the right glamor, he can take on any appearance and any gender/physical traits you want.

Kim Secretan is one of your bartenders for the evening. Should any of the gentlemen in attendance want their cock sucked while they enjoy their drink, he's available for full service.

Midnighter may or may not be left for free use either in one of the bathrooms or a utility closet. Don't worry, he won't be difficult to find.

Gale is here to help you try new things, though she isn't interested in hurting anyone.

Huaisang is your emperor or empress for the evening, available in his normal or sex-swapped form, ready to rule, command, and be worshipped and adored. He loves playing a part, and would be happy to offer a little roleplay to fulfill your desires.

Peter Parker will help you swing from the chandeliers! Okay, not quite that - those are expensive - but if you've ever wanted the free-wheeling fun of slinging around, Peter will make sure you don't fall. Maybe if you make a good impression, he'll be interested in trying some new things himself.

Jonathan Sims will be on hand to provide intellectual (possibly condescending) conversation. If you long for the dialectic joys of the university or academy, Mr. Sims can help you relive those days. If you can keep up.

Ororo Munroe is your goddess for the night, your lightning in a bottle. She is happy to bring you to the edge, to make you beg, or to give you whatever sweetness you're craving. For nonsexual thrills, visit her for gardening tips or the thrill of standing in the rain or snow, or maybe a special flower just for you.

Logan and other security will be making rounds to ensure no one is abusing staff or volunteers. They may also be available to fulfil some wishes if you ask nicely.

Thomas Jopson and Elle Woods are Jamie's coordinators for the night. If anyone has a problem or if any of the volunteering staff or professionals need anything, they will be your guy and gal Friday.

⬥ Bouncers and security will be on the lookout for any abuse that is non-consensual. Patrons who cannot respect volunteers and staff will be forcibly removed. They will also have bad luck for one week. (Ask the_fairest_flower if you are actually interested in playing with the bad luck mechanic!)

⬥ All patrons will pay a small cover charge.

⬥ Private rooms in the Gray Room will be available reduced fees for the night; patrons will only be allowed to have them in 30-60 minute increments. The doors cannot lock by mundane or magical means.

⬥ All drinks/specials from The Scratch are used with permission from sidehustles; any employees of The Scratch who wish to work at the Gray Room for the night to help behind the bar, in the back rooms, or as volunteers are welcome. Any employees of The Scratch who wish to attend as patrons will not have to pay a cover charge.

⬥ Jamie has offered most volunteers a favor that they may call in at a later date. Or he's making sure they are paid/tipped for the night.
